In recent years, the F1 calendar has been regularly updated: in 2021 there was a race in Jeddah, in 2022 a circuit in Miami was added, and in 2023 the drivers will drive on a new circuit in Las Vegas. However, the impression of these tracks remained ambiguous: racing on too narrow Jeddah complicate overtaking, Miami because of the artificial bay and an attempt to create a show from the whole caused the audience ambiguous and even negative response, and Vegas is unlikely to be an exception.
Where to watch Formula 1 live broadcast
Now Formula 1 is not officially broadcasted in many countries. However, viewers find other ways to watch and do not miss their favorite competition. Here are just some of the options:
- Foreign TV channels. Many channels broadcast races live, including Sky Sports F1, FOX Sports, ESPN, Setanta Sports. Most are legally available on various streaming services, but you’ll likely need a VPN to watch.
- F1 TV is a handy resource with a lot of additional content: onboarding of each driver, telemetry, archive records. But access to it is quite difficult: in addition to regional restrictions, the service can not be paid from a Credit card – a foreign bank account or the help of friends from abroad will come in handy.
- Broadcasts on the Internet and social networks. If you want, you can find amateur broadcasts.
F1 races will be broadcasted live on ESPN and ESPN 2 in the United States and MBC Action in the Middle East and North Africa, so no streaming service or TV package has exclusive broadcast rights. That means you have several ways to watch F1 live. If you don’t have a cable subscription that includes ESPN (maybe you got rid of it recently or did some time ago and have a dedicated streaming device), then you need to look for streaming packages that do. The best one is Hulu with Live TV.
Hulu is a good option to watch F1 races live because of the sheer amount of content you get for what you pay for. Not only do you get access to Hulu’s entire catalog of original shows and movies, but you also get access to more than 75 TV channels, including ESPN and ESPN 2, as well as ESPN+ and Disney+. This provides plenty of entertainment, including every live Formula One race in the 2023 season.
